EECE.3170 WS24 Final Project

You proposed your final project on Blackboard and have received feedback. To recap, you should use your Arduino kit to develop an interesting device that uses:
  • Digital input
  • Analog input
  • Digital output
  • Analog output
to perform a non-trivial task. The task is up to you.
Your final project has two more components:
  • Demonstration (to instructor or TA)
  • Report

Report

Turn in a 2-3 page report that answers the following points. Additional pages can be used for any code, figures, schematics, pictures, videos, etc that you think are relevant. You should be sufficiently descriptive that the project can be replicated.

  • Describe the objective of your project (what does it do?) in ONE SENTENCE.
  • Define the components that will be used for the digital/analog input/outputs described above.
  • Explain how your device should work in about one paragraph. Feel free to use diagrams if it will help.
  • Describe how you approached developing this project. What designs did you consider? What did you choose to implement? What was the result of testing any subcomponents?
  • Describe your final project in its demonstrated state. Be clear enough that someone else could build and program it.
  • Did your project meet your stated objective? Why or why not? If you could start over, what would you have done differently or added to the project?
