I, with Professor Yanfen Li, shared our academia journey in Transitioning from student to educator, the importance of mentorship to creating a better balance on Nature Research Sustainability Community to celebrate 2019 International Women’s Day.

I serve as the mentor in SPARK, Strategic Preparation for Academic Resilience and Know-how, Faculty program since 2021.

Before joining UMASS Lowell

I contributed to the development of Illinois Female Engineering Student in Academia Training (iFEAT) Program and our results were published as follows:

I also developed and coordinated Literature Reading Club and Purdue Future Faculty Preparation Club as a post-doc in Purdue. The goal of Literature Reading Club was to facilitate discussion for literature study in bioenvironmental and bioprocess engineering (e.g., biocrude oil upgrading and algal wastewater treatment area) every other week.
