WolfVision Pod Instructions (Getting started with a TEAL Room at UMass Lowell)

Touch Screen

The focal point of the every pod is a touch screen monitor. All controls are accessible by touching the screen as shown below.

The Easy Button

Everything begins with the yellow + button located toward the middle at the bottom of the display. It gives access to all available input options. Consider this your “Easy Button”. Choose your desired input to get started

The Control Center

The Control Center gives access to tools. When you touch the screen, the button will appear at the bottom right corner of the display. This is where to go to take snapshots, access full annotation, start and end sessions, and more

Control Center Features

Full Annotation

– Touch the control center button on the bottom right

– Select “Annotation” and the menu will come up

– Choose your annotation features from the menu

White Board Drawing

-Touch the Yellow “Easy Button”

-Choose “Whiteboard” and begin drawing

-Use a finger or stylus to draw on the whiteboard 

Saving Files

– Put a flash drive in the USB hub on the side of the monitor

– Choose the Yellow + “Easy Button” and choose Files ->Internal

– Choose “snapshots” – > “more’ – > “Copy to USB

Ending the Session

– Touch the screen and select the “Control Center”

– Choose “End Presentation”

– Choose New Presentation to begin again

 

The Sharing Center

The Sharing Center

The sharing center is where the instructor can push and pull content from each pod workstation. To access the Sharing Center, touch the display and select the button on the left side of the screen, toward the middle.

To share content from one screen to another, simply drag from the Instructor Pod to any student pod or from any student pod to the Instructor pod (Limit of up to 4 screen shares per pod at one time). The arrows will show you thre direction of your share

-One can also select “share with all stations” to push the same content everywhere

– To leave the sharing center, select the back button located on the right side of the screen, toward the middle
