Maia Gil’Adí works on twentieth-century and contemporary Latinx literature and culture. Her current book project considers representations of violence in Latinx and multiethnic speculative fiction as disruptions to traditional narrative forms and the politics of aesthetic remedy and “social justice” in all its liberal and radical guises.
