We will run a one-week face-to-face summer camp hosting 40 high school students at our 3,171 square feet Cyber Range (600 Suffolk St, Lowell, MA 01854) from July 11 to July 15, 2022.
Each day during the 5-day camp, this GenCyber program will be held from 9AM – 4:30PM (Lunch break: 12PM – 1:30PM) in Cyber Range (Wannalancit Building, Room 445, 600 Suffolk St, Lowell, MA 01854) of University of Massachusetts Lowell. Students will practice on university computers in Cyber Range.
A student must be a high school student to be eligible (at least entering 9th grade in fall 2022). Seniors graduating in 2022 are welcome too. No cybersecurity experience is required. GenCyber is funded by government grants and is free to all students.

This year, we will first recruit from our four partener schools per our written propsal for the GenCyber grant. If we cannot recruit enough students from these four partener schools, we will select students from the online applicants. We expect to accept online applicants into this program. Decisions on selecting students will be made in early May 2022. Female and minotiry students are encouraged and given a higher priority into this summer camp per the guideline of the GenCyber program.
