  • Professor Valery Tuchin presented “Tissue optical clearing towards multimodal imaging: from in vitro to in vivo.” The visit was part of The Optical Society’s (OSA) Traveling Lecturer Program. 
  • The Massachusetts Technology Transfer Center ACORN Innovation Fund has awarded a grant to Anna Yaroslavsky to investigate quantitative fluorescence polarization imaging of thyroid cells! 

September 2019

  • Anna Yaroslavsky, along with ABL graduate students Androniki Mitrou and Peter Jermain, completed the NSF I-Corps Teams program with the help of industry mentor Laurie Bishop. The videos below explain the need for novel, quantitative approaches for pathology.

  • Anna Yaroslavsky received an NSF I-Corps Site Grant to evaluate commercial viability of technology developed at ABL. Team members attended SPIE Photonics West, the world’s largest optics event, in San Francisco, CA to engage in customer discovery.
