The Ross Research Group is focused on fundamental and applied science at metal-molecule interfaces and on materials constructed across multiple length scales. We are particularly interested in functional materials where unique chemical and physical phenomena emerge. Our approach is interdisciplinary, drawing from materials and analytical chemistry, data-driven computation, and materials science.

Our research efforts will reveal unique and functional materials that impact challenges in Energy, Detection, Catalysis, and Photonics.
