You can upload your own recordings (audio & video) for use by you and your students. In many cases, you can just drag and drop a file to be uploaded. UML uses Echo360 as the platform of choice for security & ease of use.
Formats accepted directly into Echo360 include the following:
Video/visual– .pdf .ppt .pptx .3gp .asf .avi .flv .m4v .mkv .mov .mp4 .mpg .mpeg .ogv .webm .wmv
Audio– .aac .aif .aiff .mka .mp3 .ogg .wav .wma

If you want to have your uploaded recording tied to a particular course, you must publish it to a course, otherwise the recording is just in your Echo360 Library.
Find the video in your Echo360 Library. Click on the title of the recording you wish to publish and go to Share, then click on Class.
Choose from the drop-down list of your current courses, select it and also the section.
Choose New Class.
Enter a name for the recording and select Share to complete the process.
Note: you can also choose availability of the recording by changing the date the recording is or isn’t available.
