Request a recording for a course by using our request form: https://www.uml.edu/service/Apps/LectureCapture
This form works in conjunction with SiS, and reflects your current schedule of classes, once you login.
Select which semester you want to record.
Select which course(s) you wish to record from the list by using the checkbox to select them, decide whether you will allow students to download a recording. By default, any recording is not allowed to be downloaded.
Choose whether students can download either the audio or the video. By default, students cannot download the recordings.
If you have special needs (ie, your class typically runs long or you aren’t going to be in class on particular dates) click on Add a Note and enter info there.
If you don’t see a location assigned for your course, not to worry. When the room(s) are assigned, the system notifies our staff and changes are made to the scheduled recordings.
Now click on Submit at the bottom of the form and you will receive acknowledgement of your request. A confirmation will come to you within a few days, once entered. Adjustments to the schedule can be made at anytime, however. Just let us know.
