Lecture capturing your class is easily accomplished.
All UML classrooms have the ability to record your class and/or a special speaker. UML records your class via Echo360, but only after the course has been requested by a faculty member.

Overview–
Lecture capturing your class is easy to do, but you might have some questions concerning it.
Studies have shown that students get more out of a class if they can refer back to a recording from the class as it helps reinforce materials and also can act as a review tool before an exam.
Teaching Style Changes–
You shouldn’t need to vary from your normal teaching style in order to make a recording. The Echo360 system simultaneously records whatever is displayed along with a video camera that is aimed toward the front of the room (to capture you and the whiteboard if desired), along with audio. The player for the recording allows for either screen to be full-screen as well by clicking on either image within the recording.
Ownership–
You retain complete control over the recordings, too. You can edit the recording, restrict viewing manually or by selecting a date window for viewing. See this link for additional info: https://sites.uml.edu/its/resources-training/how-to/
Accessibility–
Captioning of recordings is automatically done as well. One can search the captioning/transcript to find a particular point in the video, too, all via the player.
Setting up to record a class via lecture capture can be easily done. Go to the next section to start the process.
