Since faculty own the recordings made via lecture capture (Echo360), any or all of the recordings can be edited.
With advances in the Echo360 editor, faculty can now do advanced editing, including adding or joining new material into a recording, trimming a recording anywhere throughout the recording and more.
Because the video editor has improved and now can insert new video and/or change audio, it has grown in complexity, but still remains simple enough for everyday use, so don’t be put off by the screenshot above.
Here is a link to Echo’s help pages, to be supplemented soon with short videos on each aspect: https://echo360.com/getting-started/#/page/60e7cfe7b386070d8b7c33b3

Editing can also be done with any recording uploaded into Echo360.
More sophisticated editing can be accomplished via the Echo360 video editor, including adding in new video from other recordings and joining segments together.
