Regression forms a very important topic in Data science. It is used widely in many applications.
Regression is when you guess a number. For example, you play a game of “Price is Right” where you want to guess the price of a phone, you will make the guess based on its features like whether it has large display or a good camera. Here guessing or regressing the price value is the goal, you may not get the exact value but you will be able to make a prediction based on the data available.
