BIOGRAPHY

David Kazmer received BS Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University in 1989 and PhD from the Design Division at Stanford University in 1995. He has held engineering and management positions in industry and academia, is a named inventor on over 20 patents, and author of two books, ten book chapters, and more than three hundred other publications. David O. Kazmer, Ph.D., is researching advanced capabilities in design of manufacturing processes, focusing on molding process simulation and development as well as product and machine design towards integrated product and process engineering. Teaching courses pertaining to process engineering, mold design, process control, and process simulation. He is also an Associate Research Professor in the Department of Mech. & Ind. Eng, Amherst Campus. His industry experience includes engineering and management positions at GE Research and Development, GE Plastics, and Synventive Molding Solutions.
