Much of my current work focuses on the mechanisms driving diversification in reptile faunas of remote island systems. My research combines field studies with emerging genomic technologies to to explore the evolutionary history of island reptile faunas and identify factors promoting differentiation. The questions that I address and the approaches that I use span a variety of fields including population genetics, phylogeography, phylogenetics, landscape genetics, island biogeography, and conservation.
