iSENSE

We are working on restoring the iSENSE web site! We were running on Amazon servers and an automatic upgrade took down the system. We are moving the iSENSE system to a server at UMass Lowell. 

As of Fri Apr 9, 2021, here is the current status:

• Server provisioned at UMass Lowell
• Ruby, PostgreSQL, nginx, Passenger, LibreOffice installed
• iSENSE web app configured and running
• Database copied over from AWS, installed on UML server, and communicating with the iSENSE app
• Media objects copied over from Amazon S3 to UML server

To do:

• SSL certificates to be installed and configured
• Google Maps API key to be installed
• Security testing by UML IT
• Port forwarding from external IP address to internal server address to be set up
• Site DNS setting updated (launch!)
